who is behind jay Bee Publishing?
It all started when…
Jhonnie Blampied was born in London. It was not either Paris or Vienna, as his name might suggest. He was naturally left-handed but was made to write with his right hand in his primary school. This gave him the gift of Dyslexia and why he spells his Christian name the way he does. His surname is a Norman name which predates the formation of France. When the Normans conquered England in 1066: “Baron Blampied” and his mates conquered Jersey in the Channel Islands along the way. Today the name Blampied is as common to Jersey as the name Smith might be to Australia. That said there is a town in Victoria called “Blampied’ which is one of the reasons he feels so at home living in Australia. He was always a creative soul, which is what drew him into advertising and made him very successful at it. That said the thing he is most proud of producing in his life is his six Children: Connar, Madi, Bill, Pat, Lulu, and Mac. He was inspired to write through bearing witness to the stupidity, blindness, and arrogance of most Australian politicians and the observation that the good ones were being side-lined or shafted. This prompted him to provide commentary on real-life events by writing his first book. This is a novella which is a fictional parody of politicians laughable behaviour. He believes it is time to laugh at them because it beats being made to cry by them.
